Absolutely perfect place with great and helpful staff. Tasty breakfast. it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the stunning interior design – it was simply breathtaking. The interior was inviting and elegant, creating the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.
The swimming pool is surrounded by lush greenery and adorned with stylish decor, it was like a serene oasis in the middle of the city.

Sukhothai old city is an absolute must for any traveler to the north of Thailand, Just as Chiang Mai is supposedly. We didn't have enough time. It is an archeological wonder, ancient and a great education on the beginnings of Siam. Stay 3 nights. First night eat in town. Day 1 Do the museum and main Wat in the old city, and then eat 2nd night outside with the locals at the sidewalk market. On a rattan mat. Wonderful experience. Day 2 Do the main archeological site. Its huge. Rent a bike or golf cart. DONT WALK. Stay out of the sun. Lots of shade, but not everywhere. There are 2 other sites adjacent for separate entry you can tack on if you are really gung ho. Night 3, eat in town again. Laundry, massages, food, is REALLY CHEAP. BUT, you need to take a bus or taxi to get there from New Sukhothai OR PHITSANULOK which is an hour away by car. Which you can get to by train, or plane. If you take the train, its slow, and if you are in 3rd or 2nd class there is NO AIRCONDITIONING AND THE WINDOW AND DOORS ARE OPEN. It could be a great experience, or very bothersome. And dusty and buggy. And noisy. Or take a bus. This is not liable to change anytime soon. Pace yourself, it gets hot as hades in Thailand.

The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see.
The UNESCO world heritage site in a must see. The old ruins are amazing, but for us what was the bonus was the large maintained trees around the park, and water features give an all round old historic, beautiful park atmosphere. There are numerous places to rent bicycles, for very economical rates. We were able to bike around very easily, nice paved roads, and once you are off the main road, traffic is light, so it makes riding around very nice. like a good ride in the country!

First of all, this is a paradise for history lovers and archaeologists. The public security of this small city is very good. In fact, it is not hot for a period of time in the early morning every day, but it is very suitable to cover the quilt.

Its an ancient city and I would highly recommend people to visit it. Most people don't travel to small cities in Thailand but this city has so much ancient history, its a must to understand Thailand and its culture. The king from here started the Thai script and pushed for the language to thrive. Its a must if you visit Thailand.

Sukhothai is a nice city nested in an enchanting greenery region. If you like nature, splendid trees, historical ruins, legends, people smiling, good food and a relaxing atmosphere... it is the right place
The hotel is located away from the main road in a quiet area. it is a 5min walk back to the road if you need to get anything or get a ride somewhere.
I stayed there with my young daughter and we were safe and comfortable. Luc went above and beyond for us when our arranged ride to the Phitsanulok airport fell through. He dropped everything he was doing to drive us there himself for the same cost. Without his help we would have missed our flight and connections. He is a host who cares for his guests.
The hotel was just as lovely as the photos. Good location to use the hotel free bicycles to go and explore Sukhothai Historical Park, and the local city centre where there are nice places to eat. The room was spacious, comfortable and it had lovely facilities. Lovely walking around the grounds a night when everything is lit up. The little gifts left in the room were a sweet touch! Beautiful pool, great massage by spa on-site. Restaurant food is very good too. Very friendly and helpful staff.
This little hotel is truly an oasis of peace. All you hear is the birds singing, while you’re surrounded by beautiful nature and in your beautifully decorated room. We loved that you can rent your bicycle and ride around. We enjoyed the relaxing pool and liked the massage in room very much too (great therapist and so comfy to just book one hour in advance and get it in your room!!!). Staff was always amazing and willing to help. Definitely recommended if you’re in Sukhothai.
When staying in Thailand the location is the key. And with this place you get a great location indeed. Walking distance to central Sukhothai historical park and to the morning alms ceremony at Wat Traphang Thing. The lady running the place is the most smiling person we met in all of Thailand and can cook one hell of a breakfast.
Beautiful hotel, very well situated at almost 1.5km from the Historical Park, with a helpful and warm staff. Very calm and large room, a rich and tasty (local) buffet for breakfast. Possibility to make arrangements for a private driver to visit the nearby Si Satchanalai ruins (1 hour, 2800 bahts back & forth).
We are staying in there for 2 days. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast. And.. You can take coffee, tea, banana, mineral water and noddle for a free.. We love it! They have a free bike too for guest.
The location is strategic, near Sevel and Sukhothai Historical Park too.
Thanks for the hospitality..
Good location, very close to the bus station. From bus station you can go in any direction, to Chiang Mai, Bangkok. Very cozy and clean. You can rent a bike and go to the old city to see sights, it’s close. This is a mini hotel with a fairly large surrounding area.
We loved our stay at Sawasdee. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and peaceful. Comfortable private bungalows and a really nice pool. Close to interesting Old Sukhothai and the fantastic historical park. Highly recommended!
I loved everything! super nice charming beautiful hotel in a very quiet street, close to some restaurants and a very nice cocktail bar. The room was super comfortable, the bed just amazing. Foresto guest home IS THE PLACE TO BE!
The room and bathroom are very spacious and confortable. The swimming pool is also wide with a jacuzzi. Breakfast is good and local. Nice reception ! Bike are available on site (for free) and the hotel is cosy with only 9 rooms.
Beautiful tranquil setting yet near a busy street with restaurants and shops. Very nice pool. Good breakfast, comfortable bed, spacious room, best television we've had in Thailand. Inexpensive and tasty dinner options.
The hotel is incredibly beautiful and the staff very attentive. In particular, I loved the architecture, the swimming pool and the food in the restaurant which was excellent. It's really 11/10 :)
The ambience of the hotel was quite pleasing, and its location was ideal. The bedrooms, housed in lovely typical structures, added to the charm, and the breakfast was splendid
Mango House is a wonderful oasis in the middle of Sukhothai. Stay here and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere, friendly staff and restaurant with Thai and western food.
This is the best Hotel in Sukhothai! We stayed here before and it was outstanding both times! We will come back for sure! Quiet, clean, pure heaven garden and pool.
